This site is about a GIMP plugin called Liquid Rescale.

It is a free, open source frontend to the Liquid Rescale Library, which provides an implementation of the Seam Carving algorithm as described in this paper by Shai Avidan and Ariel Shamir.

The Seam Carving procedure aims at resizing pictures non uniformly while preserving their features, i.e. avoiding distortion of the important parts.
The plugin supports manual feature selection, and can also be used to remove portions of the picture in a consistent way.
Since version 0.6 it also supports real-time interactive scaling.

The latest version is 0.7.1, released on Jun 6th, 2010.
It requires GIMP 2.6 or newer.

Installing / Configuring
On a base install, first get the dependencies:

sudo yum install ruby httpd httpd-devel gcc gcc-c++ readline readline-devel zlib zlib-devel openssl openssl-devel gettext-devel expat-devel curl-devel

You can check to see if the version of ruby is acceptable, if not, it’s easy to install from source.  As of this writing, that was version 1.8.5, which is old.  Centos-plus still doesn’t have a newer version.  Grab a copy of ruby from http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/downloads/:

While you’re at it, grab a copy of rubygems from http://rubyforge.org/frs/?group_id=126

Untar, extract ruby:

tar xzvf ruby-1.8.7-p72.tar.gz
cd ruby-1.8.7
./configure
make
sudo make install

Untar, extract rubygems:

cd ..

cd rubygems-1.3.1
sudo ruby setup.rb

Note that I had to logout and log back in (re-run profile) to ensure that the new ruby installed in /usr/local/bin was being read, and not the ruby in /usr/bin.  Tested with ruby -v.

Next, install rails:

sudo gem install rails

Install your Database of choice (you may want postgres, other dbs):

sudo yum install mysql mysql-server mysql-devel

And install any other gems:

sudo gem install mysql — \
–with-mysql-include=/usr/include/mysql \
–with-mysql-lib=/usr/lib/mysql

Note: Felippe Silvestre reports that he had to add an additional mysql_config option on his install (it has also been reported that only supplying the mysql_config option works, your results may vary):

sudo gem install mysql — \
–with-mysql-include=/usr/include/mysql \
–with-mysql-lib=/usr/lib/mysql \
–with-mysql-config=/usr/lib/mysql/mysql_config

Install passenger (mod_rails):

sudo gem install passenger
sudo passenger-install-apache2-module

Follow the directions for passenger, and you’re done.

Troubleshooting

If apache won’t start after installing passenger, make sure you’re SELinux is not enabled.  I couldn’t get it to work with enabling the correct permissions using chcon, so I just disabled by:

echo 0 >/selinux/enforce

and then turning it off on reboot by editing /etc/selinux/config and setting it to permissive (instead of enforcing).

If you get errors abour readline when running script/console for Rails, it probably means that ruby was not compiled with readline (readline-devel) support.  If you skipped installing the readline-devel packages, this can happen.

Girokonto

Das Girokonto (von ital. giro [ˈdʒiːɾo] oder girare [dʒiˈɾaːɾe]: Kreislauf oder kreisen lassen) ist ein von Kreditinstituten für Bankkunden geführtes Kontokorrentkonto zur Abwicklung des Zahlungsverkehrs. Zahlungen werden zu Gunsten und zu Lasten des Girokontos gebucht.

Das Girokonto ist rechtlich als Kontokorrentkonto zu qualifizieren, also ein Konto in laufender Rechnung nach § 355 HGB, bei dem täglich ein Saldo, der einer der beiden beteiligten Parteien zusteht, ermittelt wird. Mindestens eine der beiden Parteien muss Kaufmann  sein; diese Eigenschaft wird bereits durch Kreditinstitute erfüllt, weil sie ein Handelsgewerbe nach § 1 Abs. 1 HGB betreiben.

In den seit Januar 2002 geltenden Vorschriften zum Girovertrag (§ 676 f und § 676 g BGB) finden sich auch Regelungen zum Girokonto. Danach ist das Girokonto zentraler Bestandteil des Girovertrages. Denn nach der Legaldefinition des Girovertrages in § 676 f BGB ist das Kreditinstitut verpflichtet, für den Bankkunden ein Konto einzurichten, eingehende Zahlungen auf dem Konto gutzuschreiben und abgeschlossene Überweisungsverträge über dieses Konto abzuwickeln. Überdies hat es dem Kunden als Begünstigtem einer Überweisung die mit dieser Überweisung weitergeleiteten Angaben zur Person des Überweisenden und zum Verwendungszweck mitzuteilen. Das Girokonto kann mit Zustimmung der Erziehungsberechtigten auch für Minderjährige eingerichtet werden (siehe Jugendkonto). Zum 31.10.2009 ist in Umsetzung der EU-Zahlungsdiensterichtlinie europaweit das Recht des Zahlungsverkehrs vereinheitlicht worden. Der Girovertrag und die wichtigsten Zahlungsdienste (Überweisungen, Lastschriften und Kartenzahlungen) sind neu in §§ 675c - 676c BGB sowie im Zahlungsdiensteaufsichtsgesetz (ZAG) geregelt worden. Kreditinstitute können nunmehr mit ihren Kunden vereinbaren, dass der Zahlungsverkehr ausschließlich nach der sog. Kundenkennung (Kontonummer und Bankleitzahl bzw. IBAN und BIC) erfolgt und der Name des Überweisungsempfängers/Lastschriftschuldners nicht mehr berücksichtigt wird. Das neue Recht regelt auch Haftungs- und Beweisfragen und führt eine Vielzahl neuer Begriffe ein. Vor dem Abschluss eines Zahlungsdiensterahmenvertrages (Girokontovertrag, Debitkartenvertrag, Kreditkartenvertrag oder Online-Banking-/Telefon-Banking-Vertrag) hat der Kunde Anspruch auf Aushändigung umfangreicher vorvertraglicher Informationen (s. Artikel 248 § 4 EGBGB). Während der Laufzeit des Vertrages müssen Änderungen der Vertragsbedingungen und Entgelte gegenüber Verbrauchern mit einer Widerspruchsfrist von 2 Monaten angeboten werden (§ 675g BGB). Lange Kündigungsfristen zu Lasten von Verbrauchern sind nicht mehr zulässig (§ 675h BGB).

Die Vorschrift des § 676 f BGB begründet in Deutschland allerdings keinen Kontrahierungszwang für Kreditinstitute, und zwar weder auf Abschluss des Giro- noch des Überweisungsvertrages. Entgegen einer weitläufigen Meinung besteht in Deutschland für viele Sparkassen kein Kontrahierungszwang, d. h. das Kreditinstitut kann unter Umständen die Eröffnung eines Kontos ablehnen. In Frankreich und Belgien gibt es im Gegensatz zur Rechtslage in Deutschland, Österreich oder der Schweiz einen Kontrahierungszwang.

Neben diesen gesetzlichen Vorschriften finden sich zahlreiche Regelungen über die Führung von Girokonten in den AGB der Kreditinstitute[5]. Im Zuge der Anpassung an das neue Zahlungsdiensterechts wurden die Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen und Sonderbedingungen z.B. für den Überweisungsverkehr mit Wirkung zum 31.10.2009 geändert. Dort wird zunächst klargestellt, dass Girokonten als Kontokorrent im Sinne des § 355 HGB anzusehen sind, für die Rechnungsabschlüsse nach vereinbarten Zeitabschnitten erstellt werden. Einwendungen hiergegen müssen innerhalb von 6 Wochen dem Institut zugegangen sein. Ferner sind in den AGB Stornobuchungs- und gegenseitige Aufrechnungsrechte geregelt. Eine Kündigung des Girokontos ist für den Kunden jederzeit ohne Einhaltung einer Frist möglich. Ein Kreditinstitut darf hierfür keine Gebühren erheben. Auch die kontoführende Bank hat die Möglichkeit, das Konto wegen Unzumutbarkeit zu kündigen, hat jedoch bei der ordentlichen Kündigung eine Frist von 6 Wochen einzuhalten, bzw. die Belange des Kunden zu berücksichtigen, insbesondere nicht zur Unzeit zu kündigen [7]. Unzumutbar wird die Fortführung einer Kontoverbindung insbesondere, wenn

  • der Kunde die Leistungen des Kreditinstitutes missbraucht, insbesondere für gesetzwidrige Transaktionen, z. B. Betrug, Geldwäsche u.a.,
  • der Kunde Falschangaben macht, die für das Vertragsverhältnis wesentlich sind,
  • der Kunde Mitarbeiter oder Kunden grob belästigt oder gefährdet,
  • die bezweckte Nutzung des Kontos zur Teilnahme am bargeldlosen Zahlungsverkehr nicht gegeben ist, weil z. B. das Konto durch Handlungen vollstreckender Gläubiger blockiert ist (siehe Kontopfändung) oder ein Jahr lang umsatzlos geführt wird,
  • nicht sichergestellt ist, dass das Institut die für die Kontoführung und –nutzung vereinbarten üblichen Entgelte erhält oder
  • der Kunde auch im übrigen die Vereinbarungen nicht einhält

Die Schufa Holding AG (Eigenschreibung SCHUFA, früher: SCHUFA e. V.; Schutzgemeinschaft für Absatzfinanzierung) ist ein privatwirtschaftlich organisiertes deutsches  Kreditbüro, das von der kreditgebenden Wirtschaft getragen wird. Sitz der Schufa Holding AG ist das hessische Wiesbaden.

Ihr Geschäftszweck ist, ihre Vertragspartner vor Kreditausfällen zu schützen; nach Meinung der Schufa trägt sie zudem zum Schutz der Verbraucher vor Überschuldung bei. Die Schufa ist im Besitz von 440 Millionen Einzeldaten von 65 Millionen natürlichen Personen, damit hat sie ca. drei Viertel aller Deutschen erfasst. Die Schufa bearbeitet jährlich mehr als 91,5 Mio. Anfragen zur Kreditwürdigkeit. Davon sind 1,3 Millionen Selbstauskünfte von Bürgern, die ihre Daten einsehen wollen. Es sind 804 Mitarbeiter bei der Schufa beschäftigt (Stand: 2008). 2008 erwirtschaftete sie einen Umsatz von rund 94,7 Millionen Euro und einen Gewinn von 3,36 Mio. Euro.

SFATURI PENTRU PREVENIREA EFRACŢIILOR

 

Efracţiile, spargerile de locuinţe, magazine, birouri, sedii ale agenţilor economici, sunt săvârşite de obicei de grupuri de infractori, cu scopul însuşirii unor bunuri sau valori. Aceste infracţiuni pot fi prevenite printr-o serie de măsuri. Iată câteva sfaturi pentru protecţia sediilor instituţiilor şi magazinelor:

  • asiguraţi-vă un sistem de pază propriu, (apelând la serviciile Corpului Gardienilor Publici, detectivi particulari, personal propriu sau alte firme specializate) atât ziua cât si noaptea;

  • limitaţi accesul tuturor persoanelor către locurile în care vă depozitaţi valorile;

  • asiguraţi-vă uşile cu încuietori tip yala şi lacăte mai solide (protejate cu clopot metalic iar dacă se poate acestea să fie atipice sau cu cifru) şi nu uitaţi importanta grilajelor;

  • sistemele de alarmare şi anunţare a efracţiilor sunt nu numai binevenite dar şi obligatorii (Legea 18/1996); adresaţi-vă agenţiilor economici care comercializează şi instalează aceste sisteme şi verificaţi dacă sunt avizaţi de către Inspectoratul General al Poliţiei Române.

Aceştia vă pot oferi sisteme de alarmare şi protecţie în mai multe variante:

  • acces în anumite încăperi numai pe bază de cod sau cartelă

  • alarmare faţă de pătrunderea în anumite perimetre sau încăperi (cu sisteme de avertizare sonoră sau comunicare către personalul de pază);

  • verificarea îndeplinirii consemnului de către personalul de pază;

  • sisteme de alarmare cu anunţare prin sistem dispecerat, ce asigură protecţia la cel mai înalt nivel de siguranţă şi care se pretează foarte bine pentru asigurarea obiectelor de importanţă majoră (societăţi bancare, CEC, muzee, expoziţii).

Aceste sisteme performante anunţă prin afişarea pe calculator, pe lângă adresa la care s-a produs spargerea şi camera sau locul prin care a pătruns hoţul.

Monitoarele folosite sunt TV-uri analoge capabile sa reproduca un semnal video sau cu alte cuvinte au o intrare video. Ele nu au nimic diferit fata de rezolutia unui televizor obisnuit. Singura modalitate de a inregistra semnalul unei camere de supraveghere video este prin intermediul unui VCR. Datorita faptului ca monitorul analog are o singura intrare video in acest sistem de supraveghere se va folosi un multiplexer pentru a concentra semnalul mai multor camere de supraveghere.

Spre exemplu un sistem dotat cu 4 camere de supraveghere in regim de inregistrare continuu permite stocarea pe 30 de zile pe un harddisk de numai 80G. 

Aceste sisteme sunt in asa fel facute incat nu necesita nici o interventie programata. Ele vor inregistra pe harddisk pana la o anumita limita din capacitatea acestuia(poate fi fixata manual) dupa care vor sterge automat cea mai veche inregistrare si vor continua inregistrarea.

O inregistrare video poate fi vazuta direct pe calculator sau poate fi scrisa pe un cd.

Camere de supraveghere 

Cabluri si distante maxime 

Se va folosi cablu video coaxial de la camera de supraveghere pana la placa de captura. Distanta maxima de la camera de supraveghere pana la placa de captura depinde de calitatile tehnice ale camerei si ale cablului.Ex : coaxial RG59 - distanta de 300 m, coaxial RG6 pana la 600 m.

Camere 

In acest sistem de supraveghere video va functiona orice camera profesionala sau nu care foloseste conectori RCA sau BNC.

Avantaje : 

  - rezolutie mare a inregistrarilor (640x480)

 - usor de folosit si flexibil

 - timp scurt pentru vizionarea unei inregistrari

Sisteme de supraveghere video HARDWARE BASEDsupraveghere video bazata pe dvr

 Un DVR este construit special pentru inregistrare video. Aceste unitati sunt construite de la 0 pentru indeplinirea unei singure functii, inregistrarea video. Functioneaza pe baza unui soft intern, iar procesarea video este exclusiv indeplinita hardware. 

Datorita acestui lucru calitatea vizionarii live precum si a inregistrarilor sunt deosebite.

DVR-urile sunt disponibile in 2 versiuni diferite. Stilul vechi arata mai mult ca un VCR, dar are un harddisk pe care este facuta inregistrarea video. Pentru vizionarea unei inregistrari este un folosit un televizor obisnuit sau un monitor analog CCTV. Regula de baza a acestor unitati este ca cu cat au mai multe functii cu atat sunt mai greu de operat. De obicei ele se programeaza prin intermediul unei telecomenzi.

Calitatea inregistrarilor video sunt apropiate sau mai bune decat a sistemelor de supraveghere video pc based.

Camerele de supraveghere indoor sunt disponibile in diferite versiuni, marimi si stiluri. Cea mai populara este camera dome. Ea poate fi fixata pe pereti, tavan si ajustata sa vada din orice unghi. Camerele indoor sunt proiectate sa functioneza in interiorul unei cladiri, ele fiind sensibile la temperaturi mari sau apa.

 Camere de supraveghere outdoor 

Singura diferenta dintre camerele indoor si camere de supraveghere outdoor este ca ceke outdoor sunt prin constructie protejate de intemperiile vremii:  temperatura si apa.

Majoritatea camerelor outdoor functioneaza la parametri optimi la temperaturi cuprinse intre -20 si 120 grade.

Accesibile ca pret, camere de de supraveghere cu infrarosu sunt ultima inovatie in domeniul sistemelor de supraveghere video . Sunt foarte multe tipuri de camere si in acest segment dar toate au un punct comun - ledurile infrarosu. Ledurile fac posibila vizionarea pe timp de noapte a imaginilor pe care ochiul omenesc nu le poate distinge. Distanta pe care o camera de supraveghere cu infrarosu o acopera este data de numarul de leduri cu infrarosu.

Ca o regula o camera cu 10-20 de leduri IR acopera o zona de cca 6-10 m. Ledurile IR sunt dispuse in jurul lentilei.

Pe timpul zilei aceste camere ofera imagini color de o calitate foarte buna, iar la atingerea unui anumit nivel scazut de luminozitate ledurile IR intra singure in functiune oferind imagini alb negru. Odata cu cresterea luminozitatii ledurile IR se inchid singure camera de supraveghere oferind din nou imagini color.

 Camere de supraveghere ascunse

 Datorita dimensiunilor foarte mici, camerele pot fi ascunse in orice. De obicei sunt ascunse in tablouri, ceasuri, radio, detectoare de fum, detectoare de miscare, carti. Camera de supraveghere este de acelasi tip cu cele indoor.

Camere de supraveghere PAN TILT ZOOM 

Camerele PTZ sunt considerate "top of the line" in domeniul sistemelor de supraveghere video. Ele se pot roti 360 de grade si pot face zoom de cel putin 22x.  Ele sunt controlate prin intermediul unui joystick sau a unei tastaturi pe 3 axe prin softwareul oferit de placa de captura sau de dvr. Au versiuni atat indoor cat si outdoor. Aceste camere de supraveghere pot fi dotate cu night vision.

La aceste camere de supraveghere poate fi programata miscarea, unghiul, zoom-ul pentru anumite ore sau pur si simplu la detectia miscarii.

Distanta cablului de la dvr sau placa de captura pana la camerele PTZ poate ajunge fara probleme pana la 1000 m.

In sistemele pc-based miscarea camerelor este controlata de o PTZ Netcom card, iar in cazul sistemelor cu dvr miscarea camerelor este controlata de o tastatura cu joystick.

 Camere de supraveghere wireless

Calitatea semnalului video al acestor camere urca de la  scazuta pana la acceptabila. De obicei functioneaza in banda de 2.4 Ghz. Pot transmite pana la 20-30 frame/s. Aceste camere de supraveghere  au evoluat de la tehnologie analoga la tehnologie digitala. In tehnologia analoga securitatea semnalului este egala cu 0,dar este considerat destul de sigura in tehnologia digitala.

Audience

This documentation is designed for people familiar with JavaScript programming and object-oriented programming concepts. There are many JavaScript tutorials available on the Web.

Introduction

The Libraries API provides your applications with stable, reliable, high-speed, globally available access to all of the most popular, open-source JavaScript libraries. Your application can use our very flexible loader google.load() or direct, path-based access to the scripts.

Sign up for an API key

To begin using the Google APIs, first you need to sign up for an API key. The API key costs nothing, and allows us to contact you directly if we detect an issue with your site.

Load the API

To begin using the Libraries API, include the following script in the header of your web page. Enter your own Google API key where it says INSERT-YOUR-KEY.

Warning: This example won't work unless you use your own API key. In the example below, replace "INSERT-YOUR-KEY" with your own, unique key.

Next, you load the libraries. The preferred method is to load the libraries via standard <script> tags (as in <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js"></script>, which will result in the fastest loads.

You can also load any number of libraries via google.load() as follows: 

  google.load("chrome-frame", "");
  google.load("dojo", "");
  google.load("ext-core", "");
  google.load("jquery", "");
  google.load("jqueryui", "");
  google.load("mootools", "");
  google.load("prototype", "");
  google.load("scriptaculous", "");

As you can see in the code snippets above, the first argument to google.load is the name of a library. The second argument is a version specification. The complete list of libraries is a growing collection of the most popular, open-source JavaScript libraries.

Note: If you choose to load libraries with google.load, you also need to set google.setOnLoadCallback.

Versioning

google.load gives you two ways to specify which version of the library you wish to load. You can request:

  • A specific version (such as google.load("jqueryui", "1.8.2");, which loads that exact version of the library (in this case, version 1.8.2).
  • A truncated version (such as google.load("jqueryui", "1");, which loads the most recent version in that branch (in this case, 1.8.2).

Libraries

Each library is available via both google.load() and directly, via a <script> include. The google.load() approach offers the most functionality and performance.

The following section lists all of the libraries currently supported by the API. We list the library name (the name used in google.load()) and all of the supported versions.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter problems:

  • Make sure your API key is valid.
  • Look for typos. Remember that JavaScript is a case-sensitive language.
  • Use a JavaScript debugger. Google Chrome has a full set of developer tools. In Firefox, you can use the JavaScript console or the Firebug. In IE, you can use the Microsoft Script Debugger.
  • Search the discussion group. If you can't find a post that answers your question, post your question to the group along with a link to a web page that demonstrates the problem.

Overview

Granite Data Services (GraniteDS) is a comprehensive development and integration solution for building Flex / JavaEE RIA applications. The entire framework is open-source and released under the LGPL v2 license.

It features:

  • A client development framework (Tide) that brings familiar JavaEE concepts to the Flex side: dependency injection, context management, authentication and secured access, bean validation, etc.
  • A comprehensive integration with major JavaEE application servers, frameworks and JPA engines: JBoss, GlassFish, WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat and Jetty; Hibernate, EclipseLink, OpenJPA and DataNucleus.
  • An efficient real-time module (Gravity), based on Comet implementations, allowing scalable data-push.
  • Code generation tools (Gas3) that help in replicating Java entity beans and services into their ActionScript3 equivalent. These tools are available as an Eclipse plug-in or an Ant task.
  • Simplified configuration and high performances for critical deployments: most of the configuration is automated by scanning deployment environments and standard libraries are optimized for scalability.

Integration and features stack is as follow:

GraniteDS greatly accelerate Flex / JavaEE developments and let you reuse existing Java services. A typical development cycle with GraniteDS goes from modeling JavaEE data and services, replicating them by using code generation tools and creating the Flex graphical interface:
